B&W Driving School FAQ's

B&W Driving School's address and phone number is listed on your webpage. How can I know for sure if it is a licensed driver training school in Florida?
Even though we provide a list of behind-the-wheel training schools on our website, we have no way of knowing for sure as to whether or not a particular school is licensed by the Florida DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses.  We strongly suggest that you contact B&W Driving School directly or check with the Florida DMV to find out for sure if B&W Driving School is a licensed school.
Do you know if I can complete my driver training with my mother or father instead of attending a behind-the-wheel training course like the ones offered by B&W Driving School?
Some states allow teen-agers to do their driver training with their parents instead of attending a professional driving school.  We recommend that you contact the Florida DMV or B&W Driving School directly to find out if Florida allows parent-taught driver training.
What if I don't know how to drive a vehicle with a manual-shift? Does B&W Driving School have an automatic-shift vehicle they'll allow me train with?
Since you're just learning how to drive, you probably don't know how to operate either a stick-shift or an automatic-shift vehicle!  However, if you have a preference as to a stick or an automatic, you probably should call B&W Driving School to see if they can accommodate your request prior to your signing up to take their behind-the-wheel training course.
I don't live anywhere near a city. There are unpaved roads and bumpy terrain all around my house. How do I know if B&W Driving School will train me on how to drive in a rural area like where I live and not just teach me how to drive in a town-or city-type environment?
Since B&W Driving School is a local driver training company in your area, it's a safe bet that B&W Driving School will be motivated (or perhaps required) to teach its local customers how to drive on rough terrain.  If you want to make certain, however, you may want to call B&W Driving School to find out exactly what's included in their driver training course before you sign up with them.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to get my instruction permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a learner's permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as B&W Driving School or the Florida DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in Florida.
Do I have to take both a drivers education classroom course and a driver training course in Orlando Florida to get my Florida driver's license?
The laws vary depending on which state you live in, but most states do require that pre-licensed drivers sign up to take a defensive driving classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  You may want to call a driving instruction company like B&W Driving School and find out if they offer either (or both) of these programs.
If I need to enroll in a Orlando Florida driver training program, can B&W Driving School help?
Yes.  B&W Driving School offers driving courses in Orlando Florida.  For more information about the type of driver training B&W Driving School offers and the training schedule, you should contact them directly.
Exactly what type of driver training do I need in Orlando Florida before I can get my Florida driver's license?
The prerequisites for getting a driver's licenses vary from state to state, however most states now require teen-agers who are looking to get their first driver's license to complete a drivers education classroom course as well as a driver training course.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training company such as B&W Driving School and ask if they offer a Florida-approved  behind-the-wheel training course which would satisfy Florida's driver's education requirements.
Is it necessary for me to enroll in a behind-the-wheel training course in order to get my first Florida driver's license?
Yes, it is.  All teen-aged drivers applying for their first driver's license in Florida are required to take a state-approved driver training course.
Can I enroll in a Florida-certified behind-the-wheel training course even if I don't have my Florida learners permit yet?
Most likely, no.  Most states have laws that mandate a pre-licensed driver to have obtained a Florida instruction permit before registering in a Florida driver training course.  It would be best for you to contact a driving school such as B&W Driving School and ask for more information.
