Isho Driving School FAQ's

Isho Driving School is listed on your website as a driving school which offers driver training courses. How do I know if Isho Driving School is a licensed school in Illinois?
While we include a list of driving schools on our website for your convenience, we cannot guarantee that every single one of them is currently licensed by the Illinois DMV.  We suggest you contact Isho Driving School directly or the Illinois DMV to find out if Isho Driving School is a fully-accredited driving school.
Will the Illinois DMV allow my parents to supervise my driving practice instead of requiring me to take a behind-the-wheel training course at a state-approved driving school?
Possibly.  Some states will allow your parents to supervise your driving practice in place of taking a driver training course with a professional driving instructor.  You will need to contact the Illinois DMV to find out if your driver training may be done by your parents in Illinois.
Do you know if Isho Driving School will let me take my behind-the-wheel training using an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know anything about using a manual-shift.
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know a whole lot about driving ANY type of vehicle, be it a manual OR an automatic!  Nevertheless, if you have a preference, you probably should contact Isho Driving School and see if they can accommodate you before registering for their driver training course.
I live in a very remote area, where there are mountains and a lot of dirt roads. Do you know if Isho Driving School offers training for driving in rural areas like where I live instead of just driving on smooth, paved roads in city areas?
Since you live in a rural area, a local driving school such as Isho Driving School will tailor your driver training to handle the conditions in your area.
Are 14-year-olds eligible to obtain a instruction permit in Illinois?
Although a few states allow teen-agers to begin practicing how to drive at 14, most states have set the youngest age for which to hold an instruction permit at either 15 or 15½.  You will need to contact the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school like Isho Driving School to find out what the minimum age for driving is in Illinois.
Do I have to complete a Chicago Illinois drivers education classroom course or online course before signing up to take one of Isho Driving School's driver training courses?
Each state has its own rules, but most states will require first-time drivers to take both a behind-the-wheel training course plus either a defensive driving classroom course (which are about 30 hours in length) or an approved online drivers education course.  You may want to ask Isho Driving School if they offer one or both programs.
If I need to enroll in a Chicago Illinois driver training program, can Isho Driving School help?
Yes.  Isho Driving School offers driving courses in Chicago Illinois.  For more information about the type of driver training Isho Driving School offers and the training schedule, you should contact them directly.
Do I have to take drivers education to get a Illinois driver's license?
Drivers education requirements vary depending on which state you live in, but you should be aware that most states require new, teen-aged drivers to complete both a behind-the-wheel training course in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course.  You may wish to contact the Illinois DMV to find out exactly what requirements you will need to meet in order to obtain your first driver's license.
Is a behind-the-wheel training course required in Chicago Illinois for me to get a drivers license?
The law in Illinois requires that all drivers complete a behind-the-wheel training program as part of their driver education.  You should contact Isho Driving School directly to find out about the types of courses they offer.
Can I register for a Illinois-certified driver training course even if I don't have my Illinois instruction permit yet?
Most likely, no.  Most states have laws that require a pre-licensed driver to have obtained a Illinois instruction permit before registering in a Illinois driver training course.  It would be best for you to contact a driving school such as Isho Driving School and ask for more information.
