Superior Driving School FAQ's

Since Superior Driving School appears on your website, does this mean they've been approved by the Vermont DMV to offer driver training courses?
The list of driving schools on our webpage is provided as a convenience to our customers only.  We CANNOT guarantee that every single school listed is fully-approved by the Vermont DMV.  You may want to call Superior Driving School directly to find out if they offer a state-certified behind-the-wheel training course.
Do you know if I can complete my behind-the-wheel training with my mother or father instead of attending a behind-the-wheel training course like the ones offered by Superior Driving School?
Some states allow teen-agers to complete their behind-the-wheel training with their parents instead of attending a professional driving school.  We recommend that you contact the Vermont DMV or Superior Driving School directly to find out if Vermont allows parent-taught behind-the-wheel training.
Do you know if Superior Driving School will let me complete my driver training using an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know anything about using a stick-shift.
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know a whole lot about driving ANY type of vehicle, be it a stick OR an automatic!  Nevertheless, if you have a preference, you probably should contact Superior Driving School and see if they can accommodate you before signing up to take their driver training course.
What happens to those of us who live in a remote area? Will Superior Driving School include instruction on how to drive on dirt roads, mountain roads, and other bumpy terrain?
If you live in a rural location, there is a high probability that a local driving school like Superior Driving School will either want--or even be required--to tailor their instruction towards driving safely in your particular locale.
If I'm 14, can I get an instruction permit to drive in Vermont?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get an instruction permit.  We recommend that you contact the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a certified driving school such as Superior Driving School to find out exactly what the minimum age requirement is in Vermont.
Do I have to take both a drivers education classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course in Moretown Vermont to get my Vermont driver's license?
The laws vary depending on which state you live in, but most states do require that pre-licensed drivers sign up to take a drivers education classroom course and a driver training course.  You may want to call a driving instruction company like Superior Driving School and find out if they offer either (or both) of these programs.
Does Superior Driving School provide a hands-on driver training course like the one that is required by the State of Vermont? I need to enroll in one in order to obtain my driver license.
Superior Driving School offers behind-the-wheel training courses which are approved by the Vermont DMV.  You may want to contact Superior Driving School directly for more information about their courses and how to go about signing up for one.
Do I have to take drivers education to get a Vermont driver's license?
Drivers education requirements vary depending on which state you live in, but you should be aware that most states require new, teen-aged drivers to enroll in both a driver training course in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course.  You may wish to contact the Vermont DMV to find out exactly what requirements you will need to satisfy in order to obtain your first driver's license.
Is a behind-the-wheel training course required in Moretown Vermont for me to get a drivers license?
The law in Vermont requires that all drivers complete a behind-the-wheel training course as part of their driver education.  You should contact Superior Driving School directly to find out about the types of courses they offer.
Can I enroll in a Vermont-certified driver training course even if I don't have my Vermont learners permit yet?
Most likely, no.  Most states have laws that require a pre-licensed driver to have obtained a Vermont learners permit before registering in a Vermont behind-the-wheel training course.  It would be best for you to contact a driving school such as Superior Driving School and ask for more information.
