Therefore, to help new teen drivers develop safe driving habits during their first few years behind the wheel, the State of White Sulphur Springs West Virginia has implemented a graduated driver license program for White Sulphur Springs West Virginia drivers who are under the age of 18.

White Sulphur Springs West Virginia Instruction Permit (aka--Learners Permit)
You may apply for an instruction permit in White Sulphur Springs West Virginia once you turn 15.
When you're ready to get it, go down to your local driver's license office with the following paperwork:

- Social Security card
- Your parent/guardian needs to accompany you to sign your application

- No cell phone or texting while you are driving
- Everyone in the car must wear seat belts
Warning--if you receive two (2) or more moving violations, your intermediate license will be suspended until you turn 18.
After you turn 18, and provided you've had your intermediate license for at least 1 year, you may apply for your Class E (full, unrestricted) license and the above restrictions will no longer apply to you.

State law requires that you have at least a certain amount of auto insurance/liability coverage on any vehicle you drive. The minimum amount of liability coverage required in White Sulphur Springs West Virginia is as follows:

$10,000--property damage per accident
