  • Unsupervised Driving Rules Provisional license holders under 18 years of age may not drive from midnight to 5 a.m. unless driving to work or school, for the first 12 months of being licensed
  • Passenger Rules Provisional license holders under 18 years of age may not carry any non-family passengers under age 20 for the first 6 months of being licensed. For the second 6 months of being licensed they may not carry more than 3 non-family passengers under 20. These passenger restrictions are waived if licensee is accompanied 25-year-old or older adult who's had a driver's license for at least 3 years
  • Other Licensed drivers under 18 years of age may not use cell phones or text-messaging devices while driving. After you turn 18, you may only use cell phones which are equipped with a hands-free device.
